Learning English made much easy with teacher resource books

THE BOOK "Writing Simple Poems: Pattern Poetry for Language Acquisition" is a valuable resource book for teaching English as a second language (ESL) to school children.
A paperback bound book of 164 pages demonstrates to the classroom practitioners how to use poetry writing as a medium to teach and reinforce the language structure, parts of speech and punctuation in an interesting way.
The book, authored by Vicki L Holmes and Margaret R Moulton has been edited by Penny Ur, shows teachers the way of using poetry writing as a medium to teach and reinforce vocabulary, parts of speech, and punctuation and other grammar and writing skills.
The teacher resource book published by Cambridge University Press, London, contains 25 self-contained lessons which have sample poems written by students of various ages. The book has preposition poems, simile poems and who-what-where-when-why-how poems to help students acquire language skills.
The format and style of the book is such that it guides the teacher to transfer the skills and enable them to express their ideas, feelings and thoughts creatively. The book can be extremely useful for the ESL teachers.
